I have a little bit of catching up to do. I thought my blog needed an update. The pictures of the boys on the side haven't been changed in 4 years. They've all grown up quite a bit in that time.
This year for Christmas I made the boys superhero masks and capes. They really enjoy playing with them. Even my niece Ellie and nephew Landon got in on the action!

I also made each of the boys aprons to help me cook in the kitchen. They immediately turned them into ninja aprons. Every time they wear them they are ninja cooks and they pull out all the moves!

For Eli and Isaac's Birthday's this year we took everybody sledding. We had a blast. I got pictures of them hitting a jump at the bottom of the hill. The facial expressions are pretty funny.

Jaron also recently had a birthday and turned 13! It seems like he has doubled in size in the past year and is only a couple of inches shorter than I am. Jaron is a great kid and it's really fun to be his mom.

Kaleb, Ethan, and Gavin are going to start wrestling soon and I think they will really enjoy it. Jaron refuses to wrestle because of the uniforms. Who can blame him. He is very particular about what he wears and that doesn't fit in his category of acceptable.

My New Life

I've been getting a taste this year of what life with six boys is going to consist of. Sports, sports, sports. I love watching my boys play and I am always so proud of them. I have to admit that it is exhausting running kids to practice nonstop and dedicating every weekend to games. Our whole summer was baseball and when that ended we started football. I am always relieved when a sport ends and we get a break. I can't even imagine what it will be like when all six are old enough to play.

Backyard Campout

My adorable little nieces Elli and Nyah came to visit a couple of weeks ago. We had a little tent in our backyard and Ellie was really excited about camping. She put the rest of the little people to work building a campfire. I was amazed at how organized and efficient they were. I am going to have to ask Elli for some pointers.

Crazy Dog or Stupid Chickens?

We fixed up an old chicken coop in our backyard and got some chicks. A few days ago I got up and looked out the window to see that the chickens had escaped. We went outside to round em up and discovered half of them in the dog's kennel. You would think that the dog would have had nice meal but she just sat there and let them wander around in her kennel. I call her a knuckle head but sometimes I'm glad that she's a little odd cause the chicks were spared.

Cute Boys

So I was looking through my pictures today and I found some that I really wanted to share. I walked into my living room one day to this scene. I felt so happy in that moment to be the mother of all these beautiful boys!

We put down a big sheet of paper and colored a big city. Kaleb and Ethan were really into it. The twins thought it was more fun to destroy, and Jaron got a kick out of repairing the damage that was being done. I was just trying not to lose my temper the whole time because the twins were ruining my fun family activity. I think I was the only one that didn't have fun. Definitely a personal problem!
